A CHIPS Program Office update – Beyond the leading edge

As the CHIPS program progresses, a number of preliminary funding announcements have been made. These include the well-known leading edge CMOS fab projects, but also smaller investments in more specialized areas such as photonics. These projects are an important part of the CHIPS for America vision but it extends to many other technology areas. This talk will cover the progress to date and some of the CHIPS program goals in these other areas.
