Picnics
At the end of the summer, the Northern VA and Washington sections hold a joint afternoon picnic. While typical grill food like hot dogs and hamburgers are provided, members are usually asked to bring a side dish or dessert, and are encouraged to bring spouses and children. The outdoor location can vary from year to year, and may include facilities like sports courts or swimming pools that are open to attendees.
