Why Volunteer with IEEE?
We asked some of our most dedicated volunteers why they give their time to their local chapters, sections, regions, and headquarters. Here are some of their answers.

The IEEE depends on volunteers to organize conferences, review papers, create standards, provide continual technical and professional growth and recognition for its members, and promote electrical engineering and related professions.
