March for Science with the IEEE Washington and Northern Virginia Sections

Come enjoy the blooms and the beautiful weather with the IEEE Washington and Northern Virginia Sections while supporting science in our society at the March for Science!  We will be spreading the word about IEEE and the benefits of IEEE membership, and encouraging other March supporters to join IEEE’s mission to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity.

The March will start at 3pm at the intersection of 15th & Constitution. There will be two meetup locations for IEEE members:
1) Tshirt pickup at 14th St & Madison Dr NW, 11am-2pm (on the Mall across from the Smithsonian National Museum of American History)

2) IEEE meetup for the March, NE corner of 15th St NW & Constitution Ave NW, 2:30pm
 
Please RSVP so that we can contact you with logistical information. On April 14, check twitter for the hashtag #IEEEMarchforScience to find us. We will use this hashtag to post updates throughout the day. Note that there are several other events in the same area on April 14, including the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade along Constitution Ave (from 7th to 17th) from 10am-12pm. We ordered extra Tshirts, which you can purchase on a first-come first-served basis as long as supplies last. Please enter your size and preference for female/unisex sizing in the text field on the registration form.
