Design of a 100TeV Superconducting Super Collider and Intro to the LHC at CERN

This presentation will begin with an introduction to particle accelerators with a focus on the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN and will finish with a paper design of a future  collider with an energy more than 6 times greater than the LHC.  The presentation is inspired by the presenters recent attendance at a two week CERN course titled “An Introduction to Accelerator Physics.” Sewn in between will be information on the wealth of opportunities that CERN and its affiliates offer to the public
