Build your own radio Workshop

April 2 @ 15:45 - 17:00

Dive into the exciting world of electronics and radio by building your own FM radio at our next workshop! Perfect for anyone from beginners to those with some soldering skills, this session lets you create a radio that can transmit signals up to 10 meters, all on a simple 9-volt battery. What You’ll Do: – Get Hands-On: Solder components onto a PCB and make your own antenna. You’ll learn about radio design while sharpening your soldering skills. – Tweak the Tech: We’ll give you the basic code, and you can play around with it to improve your radio’s signal or add cool features like song controls. – For Everyone: Crafted by our IEEE team, this project is tested to be fun and educational, no matter your skill level. Why Join? You’ll not only pick up new technical skills but also walk away with a mini radio station you’ve built yourself. It’s a great addition to your resume and a fun way to spend some time. Catch you at the ‘Build Your Own Radio’ workshop—turn your curiosity into a cool project!
