Dear Esteemed Colleagues;

The 2019 IEEE Region 2 Student Activities Conference will be held in the beautiful city of

Morgantown in the Mountain State of West Virginia, between April 5-7, 2019. SAC19 is

sponsored by West Virginia University, the IEEE Pittsburgh Section, and IEEE Region 2.

SAC19 will consist of student competitions, lectures from industry representatives focusing

on recent trends, and poster sessions portraying student research in Region 2. This year,

SAC19 is offering IEEE student members and Graduate student members the opportunity to

participate in an IEEE conference and have their quality work published by IEEE

Student papers are solicited in; but not limited to the following topics:

> Photonics; Optical Devices

> Mathematical and Computational Methods in EM

> Biological Effects and Medical Applications of RF and Microwaves

> Antennas and Propagation

> Wireless Communications (5G and Beyond)

> Internet of Things

> Wireless Power Transfer and Energy Harvesting

> Simulation and Characterization Techniques

> Additional, unique senior projects

Submissions: Submissions must be of original contributions and should not have been

presented or published anywhere. Authors of the accepted papers must guarantee that at

least one of the authors will attend the conference and present the paper. Paper should not

exceed 6 pages following the IEEE format.

Conference papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore (EI Compdex and SCOPUS indexed).

Last date for receiving full paper December 28, 2018

E-mail notification of paper acceptance January 4, 2019

Last date for receiving camera-ready paper with modifications February 1, 2019
