IEEE AESS Chapter Summit – Regions 1-7
IEEE AESS Chapter Summit – Regions 1-7
In conjunction with the February 15, 2023 celebration of the 50th anniversary of AESS, the IEEE AESS Chapter Summit brings together IEEE Aerospace & Electronic Systems Society chapter officers from across the US and Canada. Local volunteer leaders play a key role in engaging and serving our local members and advancing our technical interests in the complex systems of air, space, ocean and ground environments. Training, motivation, and inspiration from sharing best practices are all on the agenda. This event ends by 3 pm ET February 15th to allow those present to participate in the evening celebration event. Separate RSVP. Co-sponsored by: AES Member Services Agenda: Welcome with AESS President Mark Davis Session 1 - AESS Chapter Best Practices - from Chapter Leaders Session 2 -AESS Initiatives - Including integrated Sensing and 50th Session 3 - AESS Structures and Support Opportunities Session 4 - Chapter Tools Session 5 - Industry YP, Student, WIE Engagement Session 6 - Chapter Officer Engagement Closing Remarks Princeton Marriott at Forrestal, 100 College Road East, Princeton, New Jersey, United States, 08540, Virtual: https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/348251

AFIT THESIS FINAL PRESENTATION: Design of a Miniaturized CubeSat TT&C Patch Antenna
This presentation is an overview of the research performed miniaturizing the telemetry tracking and control (TT&C) antenna for the Grissom-P bus. The objective of the research is to combine known miniaturization techniques to retain the key performance parameters of the dual patch, S-band array without increasing overall thickness or altering the feed structure and network. Various approaches are examined and include shorting pins, corner truncation, and a virtually shorted patch antenna. Co-sponsored by: Wright-Patt Multi-Intelligence Development Consortium (WPMDC), The DOD & DOE Communities Speaker(s): Thomas Butterick, Agenda: This presentation is an overview of the research performed miniaturizing the telemetry tracking and control (TT&C) antenna for the Grissom-P bus.
