This Thursday, November 3, we are continuing with our IEEE/ASME Seminar series! This time around, we are excited to welcome Dr. Bob McGwier, N4HY! After an eventful career including extensive tenures at the Institute for Defense Analyses and as faculty at Virginia Tech, Dr. McGwier recently has become an affiliated faculty member of the University of Scranton! In addition to his prolific research career, Dr. McGwier co-founded Federated Wireless, a company marketing an innovative approach to the issuance of spectrum for wireless communications, and founded HawkEye 360, a radio frequency (RF) data analytics company operating a unique commercial satellite constellation. Furthermore, on top of his extensive work and achievements, Dr. McGwier has always been heavily involved in the amateur radio community.
