
Bell Labs to Intel and IEEE in 44 Years

Please join Lehigh’s IEEE Student Branch and HKN Chapter for a seminar by Mr. Thompson on how semiconductor technology has changed and what the challenges are for the future. Mr. Thompson has over 45 years of industry experience with accomplishments including leading the team that created the first USB2 and 1394B products as well as contributing to the first ever 32-bit CMOS microprocessor. Currently, he is serving as Section Chair for Lehigh Valley’s IEEE Section and is an active member of the IEEE Standards Association.
