Abstract:
Electricity markets are functioning around the world. This talk will cover fundamentals of wholesale electricity market operation, focusing on integrated power system and electricity market operation, using PJM market as an example. Hot topics, such as uncertainty, renewable challenges, and extreme weather operation, will also be discussed.

Certificate for 2.0 PDH will be available only upon advance request by 4/22/2025. IEEE current membership is required for a PDH certificate. You must include your IEEE membership number with your request. PDH certificates will be by a BCC generic email, because we have no volunteer to prepare personalized documents.
