Book Talk: THE COMPUTER BOOK From the Abacus to Artificial Intelligence, 250 Milestones in the History of Computer Science

Ever wondered how new books come about or how authors are inspired (or invited) to write a book?  Rachel H Grunspan, one of the authors, will describe the background and cultural aspects to The Computer Book.  Sterling, an imprint owned by Barnes & Noble has published a series of books,  Sterling Milestones are coffee table books that take a science theme, like physics or engineering, and presents short essays of 250 significant events in chronological order. Full page-photos add to the presentation.
