Communications Coordinator

The Northern VA section is looking for a volunteer to develop and implement a social media plan.  Tasks may include:

  • Identifying prospective social media services (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc)
  • Surveying members’ preferences and usage patterns
  • Contacting other sections to understand their social media failures and successes
  • Choosing which social media platforms to integrate into Northern VA section communications and developing a timeline for their introduction
  • Training officers, board members, and directors, as needed
  • Determining how to measure and setting goals for adoption
